Bookmark Iconizer: Customize Bookmark Favicons
"Bookmark Iconizer" is a Chrome extension that allows users to overcome Chrome's limitations by setting permanent favicons for their bookmarks. This unique solution keeps the custom icons even after the extension is disabled or uninstalled. It also offers a workaround for bookmarklets and a feature-rich, dynamic bookmark search. Although it requires exporting and importing bookmarks to manage their favicons, it's a small inconvenience for a more personalized and organized browsing experience.

Useless really, I was looking for something to change the "favorites" folder to yellow or the "Home" button changed to a home pic png file. All this does is give you the ability to change an existing icon on your toolbar or maybe in your favorites folder but not the folders themselves. Every site already supplies an icon so this is rather useless.

Does not work. It says "rightclick this icon and save on disc" but this option is greyed out. It does not even explain why i should download the old icon. Still 2 stars for the effort.

I can't get it to work. I can input my desired image and get it to appear correctly in the extension's Base64 Encoded column, but when I import it, it still has the same favicon as before.
My use case FWIW: multiple Azure DevOps agile boards that I would like to pin in my browser with different favicons representing our desktop & mobile apps, etc.
