geSign – Secure Digital Signature & eID Authentication

geSign is the official mobile app of the LEPL Public Service Development Agency of Georgia under the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. It lets you sign documents and verify your identity securely using your Georgian electronic ID card (eID) and your NFC-enabled smartphone.

No card readers. No computer. Just your phone and your eID.

With geSign, you can use your NFC-enabled new generation eID card to sign PDFs and authenticate on digital services anytime and anywhere.

Key Features

Qualified Electronic Signature (QES)
Sign PDF documents directly from your phone using your Georgian eID card. Your digital signature is securely created on the eID card and has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.

Secure Authentication
Verify your identity on supported services using your eID card.

NFC Technology
Simply tap your eID card to your phone. geSign uses NFC for fast and secure communication.

Strong Security
All cryptographic operations happen inside the eID card's chip. Your PIN codes are never stored or shared.

Privacy by Design
You stay in control of your data. Your PIN codes and cryptographic keys remain protected on your eID card. Only the information required to complete the signing process is shared, and only with your consent.
