With GEFA Ident&Sign, you can verify your identity online with GEFA BANK as a private or business customer or digitally sign documents – whether you're at home, in the office, or on the go. GEFA Ident&Sign is the fast and convenient alternative for identification and signatures; compared to the traditional PostIdent procedure, there's no need to visit a post office. The verification or signature process is completed in just a few minutes.

GEFA Ident&Sign transmits your data securely and encrypted. The procedure used is approved by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) and complies with the German Money Laundering Act (GWG) and the eIDAS Regulation (EU Regulation on electronic identification procedures in legal transactions).

When you sign a document, a qualified electronic signature (QES) is created, which meets the highest security standards. With this digital solution, you can sign documents digitally and easily.

You can use GEFA Ident&Sign for your authentication or signature from Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. During the entire VideoIdent or eSign process, you will be assisted by a member of the GEFA BANK service center staff, with whom you will be automatically connected.
