With GEFA VideoIdent, you can identify yourself as a private or business customer online at GEFA BANK – regardless of whether you are at home, in the office or on the go. GEFA VideoIdent is the fast and convenient alternative for legitimation; Compared to the conventional PostIdent procedure, there is no need to go to the nearest post office. The legitimation is completed in a few minutes.


GEFA VideoIdent transmits your data securely and encrypted. The procedure used is approved by the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) and is legally compliant with the Money Laundering Act (GWG).


You can use GEFA VideoIdent Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for your legitimation. A member of staff from the GEFA BANK service center will support you throughout the entire process and you will be automatically put through to them.
