Choose Nextcloud, WebDAV, Google Drive, Git or other backends and keep full control of your data — floccus never stores your bookmarks on its servers. Optional end‑to‑end encryption is available for WebDAV and Google Drive backends.

Open‑source and community driven, floccus is free of ads and subscriptions. A simple setup wizard guides you through backend selection and configuration, offering instant, cross‑device sync on desktops, tablets and mobile. User Reviews

Reviews highlight Floccus for reliable cross-device/browser syncing, ease of use, and strong Nextcloud integration, with broad browser support and free core syncing. Common drawbacks involve limited Firefox mobile support and potential cross-browser duplicates that may require deduplication. Overall, a solid multi-platform solution with room for mobile improvements and better duplicate handling.
Pros
  • Seamless cross-device and cross-browser bookmark syncing across multiple browsers and operating systems.
  • Easy to use and intuitive.
  • Strong Nextcloud integration for hosting and syncing bookmarks.
  • Works across many browsers with solid multi-browser support.
  • Core syncing is free to use (no mandatory payment to sync).
Cons
  • Mobile Firefox support is limited: there is no dedicated Firefox mobile extension, so syncing relies on the mobile app.
  • Bookmarks can duplicate across browsers and may require manual deduplication.

This extension is brilliant. It integrates perfectly into Firefox's native bookmark structure and keeps everything updated using Google Drive as the backend. Setting up the authorization takes seconds, and after that, it just works seamlessly in the background. It’s rock-solid, doesn't hog resources, and is the perfect solution for keeping bookmarks synced across different profiles.
