Several times a day Thyself kindly prompts you to look within and ask yourself "what do I feel?" During these mindful moments choose an emoji that best reflects your current mood. Over time, your mood diary will fill. From there you'll be able to pick out insights into what brings you joy, satisfaction and purpose.
According to a study by Dr Tasha Eurich, 95% of people think they’re self-aware, but only 10-15% truly are. Through the process of 'labelling' our moods in Thyself, we improve our self-awareness.

The app format is great however I am having a bug (which apparently was solved before, but seems it wasn't) where every time I open a new tab it goes straight to another thyself tab. I also found when I add a journal entry, I can only read it by hovering over the emoji in the log, which then brings it up in a small box where you can't even read it all. I would like to be able to actually click on the entry and read it in full. Otherwise this app frankly is pretty pointless for me as I can't look back and reflect. If this can be resolved it would be much more useful for me.
I really love Thyself! As a grad student in an MFT program, I need to be very aware of my emotions in order to provide the best therapy possible for my future clients. Thyself helps me keep track of how I'm feeling--it's a space just for me to reflect :)
One of my favorite things about the app is that it is my "New Tab" page. I love to be prompted to easily record my feelings as I'm in the middle of working on a project, as I would probably never open a journal to record my emotions at that moment (even though that is often when I am feeling frustrated or hopeless!)
In all, I love Thyself and cannot wait to see what is in store for the future.
