What is Applitools for Selenium IDE?

'Applitools for Selenium IDE' is a plugin for the Selenium IDE Chrome extension that revolutionises visual UI testing. By introducing visual checkpoints, the plugin captures baseline screenshots and uses a Visual AI engine to compare these with new screenshots taken during subsequent test runs. The comparison picks up only significant visual changes, thus avoiding off-by-a-pixel false triggers. It further helps in bug detection by rendering web pages across various browser sizes on Chrome and Firefox. Found differences are displayed along with probable root cause, reducing time spent in debugging.

Overpriced and flaky. It would be easier just to use the free imagemagick library or some Python library instead.

Information overload, I don't want to watch multiple videos and read a huge amount of text just to see what this extension actually does. If a user can't get started with an extension within a few minutes it needs refinement and clearer breakdown or no one will use it.
