glink
Create aliases for URLs
What is glink?
'glink' is a handy Chrome extension that transforms your browsing experience by providing a platform to create custom aliases for URLs. Rather than typing a lengthy or difficult-to-remember website address, you can simply type your pre-defined alias in the address bar and hit Enter. The extension then redirects you to the mapped URL. It helps you streamline and personalize your browsing, saving time and enhancing productivity. The extension is secure with all data stored in Chrome, not shared with any third parties.

Summary
Type alias in address bar and hit Enter, then you will be redirected to the corresponding URL.
Use popup to quickly create rules (alias -> URL).
Open the "Options" page to add, delete, and view all existing rules.
Example:
- type 'c/' to go to Google Calendar
- type 'y/' to go to Youtube
- type 'xxx/yyy' to go to certain page
You can customize all these rules.

User reviews
It does not seem to be what I was looking for.
The only way I am able to make this work is as an alternative to Bookmarks.
Typing the alias I created into the address bar will take me to URL it was created for.
But it does not let me save the URL to the Drive as a clickable shortcut.
Not working
Each and intuitive to use
This plugin makes a lot of sense by short cutting certain URLs to improve the page navigation efficiency. The setup and usage is very intuitive and it works well for now. The management of the shortcuts also sounds. Love it.
