GitHub Writer: Simplify GitHub Writing with CKEditor Extension

'GitHub Writer' is a Chrome extension that serves as a WYSIWYG rich-text editor on GitHub. Its integration into GitHub's interface makes writing issues, reviews, pull requests and wikis simpler. It includes all features from the standard GitHub plain-text editor, such as Markdown input, but provides easy-to-use tools for crafting tables and other structures. GitHub Writer, empowered by CKEditor 5, enhances the user experience by removing the necessity to switch to the 'Preview' tab to view progress. This open-source project invites valuable user feedback and contributions.

User reviews
There are certainly some functionality gaps. The extension only works with a limited subset of GitHub inputs. Omitted are editing MD source files and wiki entries (probably two of the most complex use cases!).

Great extension! A WYSIWYG editor like this is needed for ALL web sites with comment input fields, if there is a way to detect if a website supports markdown input. Or perhaps the user could manage the allow list, like great suspender does.
