GitHub Issue Link Status

Colorize issue and PR links to see their status (open, closed, merged)

GitHub Issue Link Status is a Chrome extension that enhances your GitHub browsing experience by colorizing issue and pull request links according to their status—open, closed, or merged. Utilizing GitHub's GraphQL API, it performs a single HTTP request to efficiently check all links on a page at once.

To activate the extension, users must generate a GitHub API token and input it via the Options page. This integration ensures streamlined and real-time link status updates. Additionally, the extension supports GitHub Enterprise, making it valuable for both public GitHub repositories and private enterprise environments.

Great extension! Love it! Even with the new Github updates, I still keep it installed as they haven't yet implemented it on PRs... But I was still very very appreciative to have this extension whilst Github didn't implement this natively, so thank you very very much!!

A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

This is determined by the publisher and the Chrome extension reputation on Chrome Web Store, the amount of time the Chrome extension has been around, and other signals about the Chrome extension. Our algorithms are not perfect, and are subject to change as we discover new ways to detect malicious extensions. We recommend that you always exercise caution when installing a Chrome extension.
