i never write review on extensions. but this is a terrible extension. my external microphone is working fine in windows i am able to test and record but this extension cannot detect the volume. After spending 1 hour with technical support, it was simply due to my external speaker connected to headphone jack. If you are using external speaker for exam via 3.5mm input for pc and also external mic. the mic will not work. YOU WILL NEED USB EXTERNAL SPEAKER.
