Summary

Alternate CSS Style Selector (ACSS for short) provides an interface to choose from alternate stylesheets which are provided by some sites. When an alternate stylesheet is available an icon will appear in the omnibox, which you can click to see a list of styles to choose from. After choosing a style, ACSS will remember it until you choose another.

This extension does not provide user.css capabilities; it's not "Stylish for Chrome". It provides functionality similar to that of Firefox's View, Page Style menu, which isn't present in Chrome. Unfortunately, because javascript is loaded after CSS, the styles may flicker a bit (depending on various factors). I don't think there's any way to fix this at the moment.

The "Base (ACSS)" style is all the stylesheets without a title or rel=alternate; the other styles are "Base (ACSS)" plus some extra. "None (ACSS)" disables all styles.

Wow amazing it's still working! (Since that last update was in 2012) Here's some example site for testing that uses the *'alternate'* attribute in it's _styles_: https://wiki.selfhtml.org/extensions/Selfhtml/example.php/Beispiel:JS-Anw-Stylesheets-wechseln.html However that also reveals some limitation of that extension. Seem it doesn't work for iframes: https://wiki.selfhtml.org/wiki/JavaScript/Tutorials/Stylesheets_dynamisch_wechseln#.C3.84nderungen_speichern Maybe that is because of some new 'security-feature' of chrome that somehow limits the access of extension to embedded sites like iframes.

Smooth, effective, perfect style testing tool for a developer and great for using websites with multiple stylesheets. Also a good use for sites with different accessibility levels. I use it for months now, and did not find any backdraw.
