Container Rules Manager Firefox

Container Rules Manager

Manage Multi-Account Containers site-to-container assignments. Add, edit, and bulk-manage rules with import and export.

Features & Capabilities

Container Rules Manager gives you a full table view of your Multi-Account Containers site assignments. Add multiple sites at once with comma-separated input, reassign sites between containers, bulk delete, and import/export rules as JSON for backup or migration.

Requires a native messaging host (Go binary) to read and write MAC's database. See the GitHub repository for installation instructions.

How it works: Multi-Account Containers locks its database while enabled. Temporarily disable MAC via about:addons, make your changes, then re-enable it. The extension detects MAC's status and guides you through this process.

Is Container Rules Manager Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Container Rules Manager requires very minimum permissions.
