Noqui Notes: Encrypted Notes

Noqui Notes is a notes app built around one idea: your notes belong to you. Everything you write is encrypted on your device, works fully offline, and never passes through our servers — because there aren't any.

No account needed, and every feature is included. A small banner ad keeps the app free; you can remove ads in Settings with a one-time payment.

ENCRYPTED BY DEFAULT
• Your notes live in an encrypted database (SQLCipher, AES-256)
• Attachments are encrypted separately with AES-256-GCM
• Your vault password is never stored: the key is derived with Argon2id and protected by the Android Keystore
• Even search runs on an encrypted index inside the vault

UNLOCK IN A TAP, LOCK AUTOMATICALLY
• Unlock with your fingerprint or face, or your vault password
• Auto-lock immediately or after 30 seconds, 1, 5 or 15 minutes — and whenever the screen turns off
• Lock individual notes so they need authentication even when the vault is open
• Screenshot and screen-recording protection, always or for locked notes only
• Hide Noqui Notes from the Recents screen
• Copied text is marked sensitive and can be cleared from the clipboard automatically

A WRITING SPACE THAT STAYS OUT OF THE WAY
• Headings, bold, italic, strikethrough, highlight, inline code and links
• Bulleted and numbered lists, checklists, quotes, code blocks, dividers and tables
• Formatting shows as you type, while notes are stored as plain Markdown

PRIVACY, PLAINLY
Your notes stay on your device and, only if you choose, in encrypted backups you control. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which never has access to your notes. Because we never have your password, we can't read your notes — and we can't reset your password either, so keep it somewhere safe and make a backup.
