Secure Notes is a secure notepad for secret notes, private diaries, and passwords. Lock notes with a password, PIN, or fingerprint, and everything you write is encrypted on your device with AES-256. No account to create, no sign-up, and no one reading over your shoulder.

WHY SECURE NOTES IS DIFFERENT
• Real encryption, not a hidden folder. Private notes, photos, voice notes, and passwords live in an encrypted vault, unlocked by a passcode hardened with Argon2id.
• We cannot read your notes. There is no Secure Notes server and no account. Your notes stay on your phone and are never uploaded. A backup file is encrypted before it is saved.
• Works fully offline. Airplane mode changes nothing.

• Notes with a password: unlock with your passcode, or with your fingerprint (face unlock on phones with strong biometrics)

A DECOY VAULT FOR REAL-WORLD PRIVACY
Set up a second PIN that opens a separate, harmless set of notes. If someone insists on watching you unlock your notes app, show them the decoy. Your real secret notes stay invisible.

BACKUP, RESTORE, AND ERASE
• Encrypted backup file protected by a password you choose. Save it wherever you like, such as your files or a USB drive, and the app checks that it opens before calling it done
• New phone? Tap "I have a backup" on the first screen. Your notes come back with your old passcode, recovery words, and decoy vault
• Restore into the vault you already use: backup notes are added, nothing already there is changed
• Restoring a backup is always free
• Erase All Data wipes every note, attachment, and your passcode from the phone in one step, for example before you travel
• Readable exports (PDF, TXT, JSON) warn you clearly that they are not encrypted

• Notes open in read mode, so nothing changes by accident. Tap the text to start editing
