PocketChart Groups helps elementary teachers organize desk groups and keep the classroom ready for each part of the day. Add each desk group with a group name, subject use, current readiness status, and an optional setup note for quick reminders. The dashboard gives you an instant snapshot with counters for ready groups and groups that still need tidying, plus a quick action to add a new group fast. It also highlights recently updated desk groups so you can pick up where you left off during busy transitions.
The Groups tab provides a searchable list of all desk groups with clear status labels, making it easy to find, review, and manage your room setup. You can create new desk groups, edit details as routines change, and delete entries you no longer need. The Board tab arranges desk groups into status lanes so you can scan the room at a glance and spot which areas are ready, which need attention, and which may be missing materials. This visual layout is especially useful before lessons, after centers, or when preparing for the next subject.
The Reset tab focuses only on desk groups that are not marked ready, giving you a compact checklist-style view with fast tap updates. The Notes tab keeps setup notes front and center so seating reminders, supply cues, and cleanup directions are easy to review. All desk group information is stored locally on your device, helping you keep classroom details close at hand.
