Raid UPPCL

The primary objective of the RMS is to monitor and analyze electricity theft activities across the state, thereby reducing such incidents and increasing revenue collection. Ultimately, this initiative benefits honest consumers who currently bear the burden of higher tariffs or have limited electricity access.

The RMS Portal has now been integrated with the UPPCL Consumer Database, and in the future, it aims to fully automate the processes of compounding fee calculation and revenue assessment.
This will allow enforcement teams to instantly generate and issue compounding and assessment details to consumers on-site, promoting a more efficient, accountable, and transparent operational environment.

During inspections, enforcement teams use the RMS Mobile App to record on-site details related to theft, irregularities, dues recovery, and other relevant information. They also upload photographs and videos as supporting evidence.
 As soon as the inspection data is uploaded to the RMS Cloud, a unique 14-character Inspection ID is automatically generated.
 Using this Inspection ID, enforcement teams or Anti-Power Theft Police Stations enter theft-related case data into the RMS Portal.
