If you search kowhai under the list of all trees you see 2x kakabeaks only. If you just scroll through the list, you see 3 of them. Plus the 2x kakabeaks. Needs a bit of debugging.

2023-10-02	Mi*****	500mb download. App "stops" on startup, but exit that and it runs. Works ok as a reference list of "is it this name tree?". But there is no useful info on bark type and wood characteristics. Only can ID on leaves and flowers. Looks like a grad project that wasn't finished and isn't maintained.

2022-09-17	Da*****	Incomplete, and needs lots of work. Works best as a list of a dozen common trees you might encounter in New Zealand. Insufficient descriptors, photos. Identifier is complicated and has no wiggle room. That might be fine for an expert, but for the average person the identifying characteristics may be a bit fuzzy. So it's better to use a weighted identity system so that similar characteristics come up too after most correct ones. But this list really is missing a massive number of ssp & var
