I find this a little hard to use. E.g. I wanted to find what a small tree similar to a kowhai was. I put in the leaf characteristics and it came up with 2 species of kowhai... If you search kowhai under the list of all trees you see 2x kakabeaks only. If you just scroll through the list, you see 3 of them. Plus the 2x kakabeaks. Needs a bit of debugging.

500mb download. App "stops" on startup, but exit that and it runs. Works ok as a reference list of "is it this name tree?". But there is no useful info on bark type and wood characteristics. Only can ID on leaves and flowers. Looks like a grad project that wasn't finished and isn't maintained.
