2025-01-04	Te*****	Rowing works well, but every time I try to set a pace, or add a pace boat, the app crashes. So I can do burning intervals and normal rowing, but almost anything else crashes the app.

2024-12-30	An*****	App is trash. Can't comment on functionality because after 2 weeks and multiple reinstalls I've still never managed to get the app to even load properly. First it was crashing every time I tried to create an account - specifically when entering date of birth. Eventually got round that problem by creating account in separate mywellness app but even once I fixed that issue this app gets stuck with a perpetual loading icon on the main tab and won't let me do anything.

2024-12-22	da*****	Absolutely awful. If you can, you're better off using the c2 erg, but my gym only has techno. It keeps stopping and also doesn't record my workouts, so now I don't even bother with the stress. The only way to track my sessions is to take a photo of the computer on the display. Also you can't put in your own workouts on the machine through the app. I really thought in this day and age it wouldn't be that difficult for a company like this

You can program interval training in the app, but the machine doesn't reset you 500m splits with each interval (it calculates as if you're rowing one continuous distance) and you must keep rowing between intervals, otherwise the exercise finishes after 20 seconds of inactivity.

I have only managed to get it connected to my phone once, and my gym only has the one machine, so no interference from other machines! Other times it says it has connected, but when rowing nothing happens on the app. It's a shame that the machines are quite nice looking and the console gives a much better experience when used properly, but this app is just hopeless.

They show up fine as Bluetooth devices and pair with my phone, but the app just spins and spins in "row to connect" mode and never successfully links. My gym only uses Technogym stuff and I can't often get to my club where I can use ErgData, so this is disappointing. I always thought Technogym was the cheaper alternative to concept, looks like I was totally wrong!

Well, during my 10000m row, the connection was lost at 875m (after completing the row I confirmed that there was a data connection & Bluetooth was on) so most of my row wasn't recorded. I'll search for an alternative.

You can keep the app from stopping if you keep rowing in 'active rest' but that doesn't suit most sessions - you need to turn the awkward dial to lower resistance and sometimes you just need actual rest between intervals. Big oversight from the developers for such an expensive bit of kit.
