Accessibility Service

Stopify includes optional features that use Android Accessibility Service to help users reduce distracting social media usage.

Accessibility is required only for the optional Shared Time Limit + Short-Form Blocking and Short-Form Blocking Only modes. These features detect supported short-form content, such as Reels and Shorts, and enforce the user's selected blocking rules.

The Accessibility Service is optional and is enabled only after the user explicitly grants permission. Mode 1 (Shared Time Limit) works without Accessibility.

Accessibility information is processed entirely on the device. Stopify does not collect, store, transmit, or share Accessibility data.

Notification Listener


Stopify includes optional features that use Notification Listener Service to help users reduce distracting social media usage.

The Application requires Notification Listener Permission only for its notification-blocking feature. When a user selects specific apps, Stopify can block or hide their notifications to help reduce distractions. The Application does not read, store, share, or transmit the content of notifications or any personal data. Stopify is designed to function fully offline, and this feature does not require an internet connection
