Scrolln't uses Android's AccessibilityService API (BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE) to provide core digital wellbeing and app-blocking functionality:

1. App Blocking & Session Shielding:
During an active focus timer or when daily dopamine limits are reached, the AccessibilityService API is used to detect in real-time when a shielded application (on your blocked list) is launched. The service immediately redirects you back to your focus screen to prevent involuntary doomscrolling.

2. Selective Short-Form Feed Blocker:
The AccessibilityService API identifies foreground view transitions to detect short-form algorithmic video feeds (such as Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts) and intervenes, ensuring you can use messaging and educational search without falling into infinite scrolling traps.

Privacy & Security Guarantees:
• NO personal data, user credentials, account information, or browsing history is collected, stored, or transmitted.
• NO keystrokes, passwords, private chats, or screen contents are monitored, recorded, or inspected.
• All detection runs 100% on-device in real-time.
