Overview

Features & Capabilities

Colour picking, reduced to one gesture.
Drag the harmony wheel and five shades fall into place around it. Found one worth keeping? Lock it. Shuffle again and everything else re-rolls around it — in key, every time. That's the whole app.
A wheel that actually does something
Five harmony rules, each with its own geometry on the wheel: Complementary, Analogous, Triadic, Split Complement and Monochrome. The nodes you drag sit at exactly the angles the generator uses, so what you feel is what you get. Drag anywhere on the ring to rotate the whole constellation.
Eight moods
A rule picks which hues you get. A mood decides how they're dressed. Ember runs hot cores into ash; Coastal is salt light and deep water; Slate is desaturated and editorial; Neon is wet asphalt at 2am. Botanical, Dusk, Candy and Desert fill in the rest.
Lock and shuffle
Tap the lock on any swatch to pin it. Shuffle re-rolls only what isn't pinned, so you can chase the other four shades around a colour you've already committed to.
Sixty named shades
Every swatch is named by its nearest reference shade — Saffron, Burnt Sienna, Eucalyptus, Moss Bank, Midnight Bay, Driftwood. Palettes get named after their base colour too, so "Ochre Ember" is a thing you can actually remember and find again.
See it wearing an interface
A flat strip of five rectangles hides how a colour behaves once it's carrying text and buttons. Every palette gets an in-context preview: the same five colours as a real card, a real button, real body copy.
A library that stays organised
Save what you like, star the keepers, and filter by mood. Group palettes into collections — Brand, Client work, Ideas, whatever you need. Twenty-four hand-built starter palettes are there from first launch, so there's no empty screen to stare at.
Take it with you
Copy any palette out as a hex list, CSS custom properties, Dart colour constants, or JSON. Tap any swatch to copy its hex on its own. Share straight to any app on your device.
Track the habit
Counters for palettes generated, saved, starred and copied out, a breakdown of your library by mood, and eight merits to unlock along the way.
Genuinely offline
No account. No sign-up. No ads. No analytics. No tracking. No network code at all — SaffronList requests zero permissions and works identically in airplane mode. Your palettes are written to this device and never leave it. Uninstalling takes every trace with it.
Built for designers, developers, illustrators, and anyone who has ever stared at a colour picker wondering where to start.
