HueVaultPicker turns any base colour into a balanced five-swatch palette using the colour-theory rules designers actually use — then gets out of your way so you can tune it by hand and file it somewhere you'll find it again.

THE STUDIO
Drag the handle around the hue ring and watch the whole palette rearrange itself live. Satellite markers orbit the wheel showing exactly where each swatch sits relative to your base hue, so the theory is visible instead of hidden. Not feeling it? Shuffle for a fresh base colour and go again.
EIGHT HARMONY RULES
• Complementary — the opposite hue, for maximum contrast
• Analogous — close neighbours, calm and cohesive
• Triadic — three hues evenly spaced, vivid but balanced
• Tetradic — two complementary pairs, rich and busy
• Split Complementary — softer than complementary, still punchy
• Square — four hues at 90°, bold and evenly weighted
• Monochromatic — one hue, five lightness steps
• Shades — one hue fading from saturated dark to washed light
LOCK WHAT YOU LOVE
Found one colour that's perfect? Lock it. Every shuffle and every turn of the wheel keeps it exactly as it is while the rest of the palette rebuilds around it. Lock two, lock four — the palette works around whatever you've already decided.
TUNE IT BY HAND
Open any palette and drive hue, saturation and lightness per swatch with real sliders. The strip updates as you drag, so you can see the whole palette react to the one colour you're changing.
YOUR VAULT
Save palettes with a name, tags and a note about what they're for. Filter by tag or by favourites, star the ones you keep coming back to, and swipe away the ones that didn't work out. Newest first, always.
A LIBRARY TO START FROM
Twenty-four hand-picked starter palettes across six themes — sunset, forest, pastel, neon, monochrome and earth. Open any of them in the editor, make it yours, and save a copy without touching the original.

Tap any swatch to copy its code, or grab the whole palette at once. Choose hex, RGB or HSL in Settings and every copy button in the app follows suit.
