2026-09-10	Al*****	This app is very poorly designed and has not improved for many years. Customer support is also generally unhelpful. I recommend going with another service as most are better at this point.

My account was deactivated based on a sitter’s report without management properly hearing my side, asking for evidence, or investigating the situation fairly. It felt like the decision was already made without considering the customer’s perspective. This is not professional and certainly not a good way to treat or retain customers.

2026-09-08	Sh*****	This may be somewhat premature but so far have not had any luck finding a dog walker. Inactive people stay listed on the app, so both times I requested service, it's either "I no longer provide services on Rover" or no response.

2026-09-05	Y *****	SAMSUNG GALAXY A11: Honestly Im a pet sitter, & dog walker Ive been working for ROVER since 11/2021 but smh with their new updates and merging with other pet companies it is now saying that "I can not download this Rover App because it's not compatible, so how im should to send me clients there pic with any other updates on there pets. My Samsung GALAXY a11 device is still good so fix that problem cuz you messing with my job. If u found this helpful tap "HELPFUL BUTTON, 👍🏽, or Yes".

It won't tell you how much you're actually making before you take a job (Rover takes a cut every time) and on top of that you have to pay $40 just to even sign up. I just finished a job that in total was supposed to pay me $590, and I'm only receiving $480 of that. If Rover at the very least told sitters how much they'd actually make per job that would be a lot better and wouldn't make me panic over money I thought I'd get

2026-09-05	sa*****	Nobody ever comes to watch your pets. You book appointments and meet and greets and all that just for them to take payment and stop responding or cancel last minute. Ive tried multiple times to use rover and never have gotten somebody to actually watch my pets.
