Hooklet is a simple inspection tag board for property managers, landlords, and maintenance staff who need a clear way to log unit walk-throughs. Each inspection is saved as a vinyl key tag hanging on a pegboard, so the current condition of each unit feels familiar and easy to scan at a glance. The Board tab gives you a straight-on view of that pegboard with color-coded tags for Good, Fair, and Needs Attention conditions. Tapping any tag on the board opens the same inspection record so you can quickly update the property address, inspected date, condition status, or notes. The Logbook tab keeps a flat list of all inspection tags sorted by the most recent inspection date for quick review. From the Add Tag tab you can create a new inspection record by entering the unit or property street address, selecting the inspection date, choosing a condition, and adding any follow-up notes. The Find tab filters your tags by property address or notes so you can locate a specific unit without scrolling through the full board. Each tag shows the property address, inspection date, and a short note preview, with the tag sleeve color matching the condition status you selected. The dashboard keeps two brass hook counters visible for total inspections and inspections completed this month, plus a strip of the three most recent tags. A dedicated empty hook in the top corner opens the inspection form whenever you need to log a new walk-through. You can tap to edit any existing record and swipe to delete tags that are no longer needed. All inspection records are stored locally on the device, keeping unit history private without requiring a separate account or sync setup. Hooklet helps you track move-in and move-out conditions, keep an ongoing record between tenants, and record quick maintenance walk-throughs in one focused place.
