The proposed job-aid is health worker Mobile Application for Health Workers (ASHA's) who administer drugs to community members to prevent Filariasis, a vector borne disease. The Mobile App will guide the health worker in deciding the eligibility of community members to receive the medicines, doses of medicine to be administered and show promotional videos to hesitant members which will help the health worker convert the refusal cases in the community.
An extensive FAQ section addresses general questions about Filariasis and common concerns related to consuming anti-filarial drugs. The health worker will login using her mobile number. The application is not too memory heavy to prevent downloading/playing problems.
The operating menu will have a dropdown menu for a Health Worker (Drug Administrator) and Supervisor. The person logging in will choose his/her status as Health Worker or Supervisor. While the Health Worker will use the Application for conducting all the activities listed above, the Supervisor will use the Application to monitor the day to day progress of all the Health Workers under him/her.
