Pauzi: Kids Screen Time

Make screen-time endings calmer and more predictable.

Pauzi is a parental control app for families with children ages 3–8. Parents set the rules; Pauzi helps children follow them with clear limits, gentle voice reminders and simple off-screen activities.

Use Pauzi in either of two ways:
• on your own phone when you temporarily hand it to your child;
• on a separate Android phone or tablet used by your child.

What you can set:
• a daily screen-time limit;
• the length of each session and the break that follows;
• the apps your child is allowed to use;
• bedtime and routines for different parts of the day.

During screen time, Pauzi:
• gives calm spoken reminders at the start, midpoint, near the end and when time is up;
• keeps the child within the apps selected by the parent;
• attempts to close ads or app-store pages opened from an allowed game and return the child to the selected app;
• suggests a simple off-screen activity when the session ends.

Pauzi is not a universal ad blocker. Its protection is designed to reduce accidental exits from allowed apps during a child session.

For parents:

• remote visibility when a separate child device is connected;

Privacy:
• Pauzi does not show ads;
• we do not monetize a child's attention;
• Pauzi does not read messages, passwords, typed text or content inside other apps;
• accessibility is used to identify the active app and enforce the settings chosen by the parent;
• accounts and data can be deleted from the app.
