Instead of sudden restrictions that cause arguments, it uses machine-learning models to reduce time in overused apps gradually, so the change feels natural and sustainable. Parents install it on their child's device and manage it with a parent-only password.

On-Device Content Analysis (Accessibility Service)
With your explicit consent, PeaceToggle uses Android's Accessibility Service to read on-screen text so it can tell whether content is time-wasting, and limit distracting content even inside otherwise-useful apps. Screen text is analyzed on the device and is never uploaded or stored off the device. You can disable this anytime in Android Settings; the app discloses this use before you enable it.

AI-Assisted App Categorization
- Classifies apps as Pure Time Waste, Potential Time Waste, or No Time Waste to decide how each is managed
- Combines on-device analysis with a categorization service for accuracy

How We Handle Data (Transparent by Design)
- Screen text is analyzed on the device and never leaves the phone.
- To power the parent dashboard and reduction schedule, the app syncs usage summaries (per-app time and category scores) and classified app package names to our server over an encrypted connection.
- A parent account requires an email address and phone number, used for login and the secure unlock code, keeping control in the parent's hands.
- We do not sell your data and collect only what is needed to run these features.

How It Works:
1. A parent installs PeaceToggle on the child's device and sets up a parent account.
2. The app monitors usage and identifies overused apps.
3. Its models gradually lower daily allowances for those apps.
4. When an allowance is reached, distracting apps and content are blocked.
5. The parent can unlock the device anytime with the password or emailed code.
6. Usage summaries help the parent understand and guide the child's habits.
