GuardianKid uses Android's AccessibilityService to detect which app is currently open on your child's device, so it can apply the right screen-time limits and show gentle reminders for the correct app. This is essential to the app's parental-control and monitoring function. It reads only the foreground app's identity for this purpose — no personal content is collected, stored, or transmitted, and all processing stays on the device.
