Litensi Kids

Litensi Kids is a companion app designed for use with Litensi Parent. This app is installed on a child's device to help parents manage device usage in a healthier, safer way, and in accordance with family rules.

KEY FEATURES:
- Location Sharing & Geofencing: Parents can view the location of their child's device and receive notifications when the device enters or exits a designated area, as set.
- Real-time Monitoring (Live Audio/Live Video): Parents can actively initiate a LIVE_AUDIO or LIVE_VIDEO session from the Litensi Parent app. This feature is optional, only runs when triggered by the user, and does not automatically run in the background.
- App Usage Control & Screen Time: Helps enforce app usage and screen time limits as set by parents.
- Critical Notifications: Provides information regarding security status, geofences, SOS, and device conditions (e.g., low battery) as set.
- SOS & Alarm: Children can send emergency signals, and parents can trigger an audible alarm on their child's device in certain situations.
- Family Communication: Parents and children can communicate through the in-app chat feature.
- Remote Device Lock: Parents can lock or unlock their child's device as needed.

Usage of Essential Permissions (for Core App Functions)

1) Accessibility Service
Used to detect currently open apps so that parental control rules can be applied, such as restricting access and displaying a lock screen when certain apps are opened. This service is not used to record screens, read messages, record keyboard input, or capture sensitive data such as passwords.

2) Foreground Service
Used to support real-time features such as audio/video monitoring and location sharing. This feature is only active when triggered by the user (parent) and runs for the duration of the session. When active, the app always displays a clear, non-hidden notification as an indicator of transparency, and the service can be stopped at any time by the user.

3) Other permissions used by feature:
- Location: for location sharing and geofencing according to user settings.
- Camera: used when the LIVE_VIDEO feature is enabled by the parent.
- Microphone: Used when the LIVE_AUDIO feature is activated by a parent.
- Notifications: To display important information such as feature status, geofences, SOS, and device health.
- App Usage Access: To display a summary of app usage and support screen time settings.
- Overlay: To display a warning or restriction screen when a specific app is opened.
- Device Admin: Used to support security features such as locking the device upon user command.
- Notification Access: Used if the notification monitoring feature is activated by the user.
- Installed Apps List: Used to display a list of apps so users can select which apps they want to restrict.
