Our LitTail app provides parents with accurate, up-to-date information about their child's phone location – in real time and in the background.

With it, you can check your child's location at any time – without the need for constant calls, texts, or annoying "where are you?" questions.

LitTail is a simple and discreet parental control tool for children aged 5-16, which works with the MyKidsFinder app (Cranies package).

For the app to function properly and ensure the highest level of security, it requires several important permissions, including:

For the proper operation of the uninstall lock feature, protection against changing system settings, and detection of attempts to bypass restrictions, the app uses the Android AccessibilityService interface.

This allows LitTail to:
- prevent a child from uninstalling the app,
- block access to system settings and selected apps,
- detect attempts to disable location services or other key permissions.

The AccessibilityService runs solely on the child's device and does not collect or transmit any data other than that necessary for location services and security notifications. It is not intended to spy on the content of messages, conversations, or websites viewed – its sole purpose is to protect the app's settings and continuous operation.

All data is encrypted and accessible only to the parent logged in to the account associated with the child.
