Magic Lineup

Every kid plays. The team still wins.

Magic Lineup is the sideline app for volunteer youth coaches who have to do two
things at once: give every kid fair minutes, and still put out a lineup that
competes. Most playing-time apps stop at the stopwatch. This one builds the
lineup too.

Built by a youth coach, for youth soccer, basketball, flag football, hockey, and lacrosse, U8 through U14.


SUB IN ONE DRAG

The sideline is chaos. The app shouldn't be.

• Drag a player from the bench onto the field or court to sub them in
• One tap rotates your whole lineup at once
• Fat-finger it? A five-second undo is right there
• Mark a player injured and they come off without breaking their time tracking
• Game clock, score, and every player's minutes on one screen


FAIR MINUTES, WITHOUT THE MENTAL MATH

Every player tile shows their time against their target, so you can see the
whole bench at a glance instead of doing arithmetic in the sun.

• Live per-player minutes, updating as the game runs
• Set target minutes for the team
• Per-game history broken down by player and position
• When a parent asks why their kid played twelve minutes, you have the receipts


LINEUP SUGGESTIONS (SOCCER)

For soccer, Magic Lineup scores every candidate for every slot using your real
season data — position time, practice effort, and attendance — and suggests a
starting lineup. Thirty-nine formations from 5v5 up to 11v11, switchable
mid-game.


PARENTS IN THE LOOP

• Parents RSVP for every game and practice in one tap: Going, Can't go, or Maybe
• See who's coming right on your schedule
• A "Can't go" starts that player as unavailable when you set the lineup, and
marks them out by default at practice attendance
• You decide which parent is linked to which kid
• Every player gets a page: minutes, practice attendance, and upcoming games
and practices


STATS THAT TRACK THEMSELVES

Tap once, it's logged, with a timestamp.

• Soccer: goals, assists, shots on goal, cards
• Basketball: 2-pointers, 3-pointers, free throws, steals, turnovers, fouls
with foul badges
• Flag football: touchdowns, conversions, interceptions, sacks, flag pulls,
penalties
• Hockey: goals, assists, shots on goal, penalties
• Lacrosse: goals, assists, shots on goal, ground balls, turnovers, penalties
• A game log that writes itself while you coach


BRING YOUR ASSISTANT

Invite another coach with a QR code. Both phones stay in sync on the roster,
the lineup, and the stats. No extra charge for a second coach.
