Atzaculara: Focus App Blocker

You open an app without deciding to. Your hand gets there by itself, and when you look up, forty minutes have gone. It isn't laziness: those apps are built to make it happen, and a time limit alone doesn't stop it.

Atzaculara is an app blocker with a different idea: a pause before the app opens. A few seconds where nothing happens, with a stylised face that breathes and a simple question: do you really want to go in?

The pause isn't always the same. The first one of the day is short; every time you reopen the same app it gets a little longer. The more you go back, the more it costs you. At midnight it starts over.

And you see the result. The history doesn't only show minutes: it shows how many times, facing the pause, you let it go.

A DECISION THAT HOLDS UNTIL TONIGHT

With commitment mode (PRO) you decide in the morning. Until midnight you can't turn the pause off or shorten it, raise a limit or remove apps from the list. Nobody can, not even you tonight. That is exactly the point.

Atzaculara PRO is paid once: no subscription, no renewal. The purchase is tied to your Google account: it works on every phone where you sign in with the same account.

The PIN protects Atzaculara's settings, not the app itself: uninstalling Atzaculara always stays your choice.

ON A RELATIVE'S PHONE

You can also install Atzaculara on an adult family member's phone, for example a grandparent's, but only with their consent and setting it up together. Each phone has its own settings and PIN: Atzaculara controls nothing remotely.

THE NOTIFICATION STAYS VISIBLE

As long as Atzaculara is active, a permanent notification says so. It doesn't hide, and that's deliberate: whoever uses the phone must know there is a control.

YOUR DATA STAYS ON THE PHONE

No account, no server, no ads, no tracking. Usage times and settings stay on the device: they leave it only if you send the diagnostic log to support yourself. The only connection is with Google Play: for the purchase, and to check each time you open the app whether you have PRO.

PERMISSIONS, EXPLAINED FIRST

At first launch Atzaculara explains why they are needed and lets you decide:

• Usage access, to measure the time spent in the chosen apps.
• Accessibility service, to know which app is opening and show the pause. It does not read screen content and does not record what you type. When a limit is reached, Atzaculara takes you back to the Home screen.
