HOW BRAINBLOCK USES THE ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
BrainBlock uses Android's AccessibilityService API for one single purpose: to detect when you open an app that YOU chose to block, so it can show the blocking screen during your focus sessions and daily limits. BrainBlock does not read your screen content, does not collect personal data through this service, and does not share anything with third parties. Everything stays on your device. The service is only active after you explicitly enable it and can be turned off at any time in your system settings.
