NutrInform is a user-friendly Chrome extension designed to help you maintain a healthy, varied, and balanced diet following the principles of the Mediterranean Diet. By simply scanning the EAN code of packaged foods, NutrInform Battery instantly displays nutritional information including calories, salt, sugars, and fats, along with dietitian-recommended portion sizes.

Beyond individual food details, the extension tracks your overall daily nutrient intake, updating daily energy and nutrient 'batteries' to inform you when limits for calories, salt, sugars, and fats approach recommended thresholds. NutrInform also includes nutritional data for over 300 common Italian recipes, assisting in effortless meal tracking. Developed in collaboration with GS1 Italy, IEO, and the BDA, this extension empowers you to make informed food choices and maintain balanced nutrition throughout the day.
