Magnetune

Magnetune is a simple rehearsal take logger for garage bands, music students, and small worship bands. It keeps quick song run-throughs as numbered flashcards clipped to a digital music stand. The app focuses on capturing only the essential details after a pass through a piece. In the Add tab, you can enter the piece title, tempo in beats per minute, the section practiced, and an optional note. Saving a take stores it locally on your device so your rehearsal history stays private and available without extra setup. The Log tab presents all your takes as a vertical stack of flashcards where each card shows the title, tempo, section, and note. From the Log, you can edit any card to correct a tempo or add a reminder, or delete a take that is no longer useful. The Stand tab acts as your dashboard with LED-style counters for the total takes this week and the average tempo across all takes. It also shows the three most recent takes as a small fan of flashcards at the front of the stand, along with a quick action button that opens the Add tab. The Search tab lets you filter your saved takes by piece title or section so you can find a specific chorus run or revisit a bridge practice quickly. Every take is stored locally on the device, so your rehearsal history remains immediately accessible while you practice. Magnetune helps you keep a lightweight practice record without heavy rehearsal software getting in the way. You can track progress over repeated run-throughs by reviewing notes and tempo choices between sessions. It is especially useful when you want to remember what worked during a quick garage jam or a focused student lesson. The visual style keeps information readable with matte flashcards and colored edge strips for sections like chorus, verse, bridge, and outro.
