The home screen greets you with a pinned rehearsal schedule sheet, displaying total sessions and this week's practice count in large, handwritten numbers so you can instantly see your momentum. A single tap on the Log Session button opens a fresh notebook page where you can record a song name, optional tempo, practice duration, and any focus notes using pencil-drawn input fields. Once saved, the new session flutters onto the stand as a torn piece of staff paper with a soft rustle, and you are returned to your growing rehearsal list.
The Rehearsals tab holds a searchable vertical stack of these staff-paper cards, each showing the song name, date, tempo next to a small red metronome symbol, duration, and a tiny pencil icon for quick edits. You can scroll through your entire history or swipe to delete an entry with a paper-tear animation that keeps your logbook tidy. When you want to see your repertoire at a glance, the Songs tab presents a grid of folded paper squares, one for each unique song, along with a count of how many times you have practiced it. Tapping any song instantly filters the rehearsal list to show only those sessions, helping you track progress on a specific piece.
All your rehearsal data stays privately on your device, so no accounts or internet connection are needed to journal your practice. The handwriting-inspired typography, large touch targets, and page-turn scrolling make the app feel tactile and responsive, like a physical notebook that never runs out of pages.
