Basket Catch

Basket Catch - a catching game where fruit drops from the top of the screen and a wicker basket moves along the ground below it. Two arrow buttons at the bottom of the play screen steer the basket left and right, and a settings item switches control over to dragging the basket with a finger. Fresh apples, oranges and bananas add points when they land in the basket, spoiled fruit has to be let through, and a fresh piece that reaches the ground takes a few points away. Catching a spoiled piece ends the run at once. A wave holds a fixed number of pieces and closes when the last of them is resolved; every next wave sends more fruit and raises the falling pace by a small step, while the counter panel at the top of the play screen keeps showing the current score, the wave number and the current pace. A pause button under the field freezes the field, its timers and its input, and offers resume, restart and a way back to the menu. The wave sheet lists the score, how many fresh pieces were caught, how many spoiled pieces were let through and the pace of the wave that follows, and it lets the run continue with the score carried over. The closing sheet lists the same counters together with the best result, which is kept between sessions and can be cleared in settings.
