Fruits

Fruits - an arcade about catching falling fruit. The basket sits at the bottom and follows the finger across the whole width of the screen, while apples, oranges, bananas and strawberries drop from above one by one. Every fruit that lands in the basket adds points by its kind, and now and then a glowing golden fruit falls and brings triple points. Fruit caught in a row builds a series: every four in a row lift its step, up to the fifth, and any miss drops the series back to the first step. A missed fruit takes one of three hearts, and the screen briefly flashes red and shakes. Every twelve caught fruits raise the stage of the round: fruit falls faster and shows up more often. A round opens with a three-two-one count, and the top of the screen holds the stage, the round clock, the points, the hearts left and the series meter. Once all hearts are gone, a summary screen shows the points gathered, the round time, the number of caught fruits, the best series and the aim in percent, plus a mark for a new top result. The best points, the best series, the number of rounds played and the total of gathered fruit carry over to the next launch and sit on a separate screen. Settings switch off the haptic response and hold a wipe of the saved progress.
