Most of us spend hours hunched over a phone without noticing. Vertisova notices for you.

It runs quietly in the background, using your phone's motion sensors to track the angle of your neck and spine through the day. When you've held a bad position for too long, it sends a gentle notification asking you to sit up. That's the heart of it.

Switch on the camera and it goes further. The front camera — processed entirely on your device — measures how close your face is to the screen and checks whether your shoulders are rounded, your head is craning forward, or you're leaning to one side. No camera data ever leaves your phone. No photos or video are stored anywhere.

✦ WHAT IT TRACKS
Your tilt angle runs all day in the background, even with the screen off, as long as monitoring is on. At the end of the day you get a real posture score, not a vague number. You can see whether you spent the day upright or quietly slipping into a slouch.

With body posture mode on, the camera gives a live reading too: upright, fair or poor. It looks for the specific things that wreck posture over long sessions — forward head, rounded shoulders, head tilt, lateral lean — and shows which ones are happening right now.

This is the part that turns the numbers into something useful. Vertisova reads your last seven days and tells you what it found, in plain sentences: the hours your posture dips, the time of day you first start slipping, how long you hold up before fading, whether your alerts are actually working, which weekday is consistently your hardest, and whether your phone angle or your upper body is the real problem. All of it is worked out on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere to be analysed.

✦ IT KNOWS WHEN TO STAY QUIET
Lie down and it notices. After around 40 seconds horizontal it switches to lying-down mode so it stops sending alerts that make no sense for your position, then switches back when you sit up. Put the phone flat on a desk and it pauses rather than reading the table as a slouch.

Every day gets a score. Every week gets a visual breakdown: a bar chart, your best day, how many alerts fired, whether you're trending better or worse than last week, and — if you use the camera — your body posture average beside your tilt score. Tap any bar to zoom into that day on its own.

✦ SETTINGS THAT FIT HOW YOU ACTUALLY SIT
Everyone holds their phone at a different angle. Set your own warning and bad-posture thresholds so the app responds to your body, not a generic standard. Choose how often alerts fire, anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes, and pick distance-only, posture-only, or both camera modes. There's a minimal notification option if you'd rather keep the status bar quiet.

It isn't a medical device and it won't diagnose anything. It can't tell you there's something structurally wrong with your spine. What it can do is help you catch bad habits as they're happening — and awareness, honestly, is usually enough to start fixing them.

Sign in with Google and your stats and settings follow you across devices. Reinstall, new phone, whatever — your history stays safe. You're in full control: clear local stats, delete your cloud data, or remove your account entirely, all from inside the app.

Vertisova started as a personal project — something built to solve a real problem during long coding and study sessions. It doesn't try to be everything. It's a quiet tool that sits in the background and reminds you, without drama, to sit up straight.
