Kerf Planner

Kerf Planner turns a list of required components into a ready-made cutting plan: how many pieces of material to buy, where each cut will be, and how much waste will be left. It works completely offline, on your device, without an account or internet access.
Enter the length of material you can buy, the kerf width of your saw, and the components you need. Kerf Planner will break them down into the fewest possible pieces and plot the result: each piece of material, each piece in the cutting order, the kerf gaps between them, and the scrap at the end.

WHAT'S DIFFERENT?
Most cutting calculators end with a list of numbers. Kerf Planner also provides incremental cutting measurements for each piece of material—the distance from the same base edge to each cut, with the kerf width already added. Transfer these measurements directly to the board and cut. No adding at the saw, and no increasing error after the third cut. WHAT YOU GET

JOB UNITS
Millimeters, centimeters, meters, inches, or feet. Imperial work can be displayed in workshop fractions—24 3/8 instead of 24.375—and dimensions can be entered in the same way.
SETTINGS
Light, dark, or system theme. English or Ukrainian. Unit of length, number of decimal places, and fractional notation. Default material length, kerf width, and end allowance so that a new plan starts as you work. Three layout strategies: the tightest fit for the fewest pieces, sequential filling to finish one piece before opening the next, or keeping the long ends so the scraps are reusable. Cutting measurements and labels on the diagram can be turned on or off. You can clear saved lists or reset all settings at any time.
