Stellrota

Stellrota helps elementary teachers turn weekly helper roles into colored star magnets on a magnetic whiteboard. Each assignment is saved as a Job Star that tracks a student name, a job title, a week label, and an optional one-line note. The Week tab opens to a dashboard with round dry-erase counters for total Job Stars, assigned this week, and open jobs, along with a quick add action and the three most recently updated assignments. The Add Star tab uses a compact whiteboard-style form where you can enter a student first name or first name plus last initial, a short role such as Line Leader or Cleanup Helper, a week or cycle label, and a reminder note if needed. The Star Chart tab groups active Job Stars under simple job-title sections so you can see every helper role at a glance. Each star magnet uses a color that matches its job title group, making the chart easy to scan during transitions. Tapping any star opens the same form for editing, and you can delete a star when it is no longer needed. The Search tab filters Job Stars by student name or job title and includes a clear control to reset or adjust the view. All records are stored locally on the device, so the app works offline and does not require a login, classroom account, or printed ticket system. Teachers and assistant teachers can manage weekly rotations faster while keeping the chart private and ready for daily use. Substitute teachers can open Stellrota and quickly understand current helper assignments without searching for paper charts. The simple labels, Save and Cancel controls, and friendly dry-erase doodle empty states make the app approachable even during a busy school day. The bottom tabs are organized as Week, Star Chart, Add Star, and Search, so the main actions stay within easy reach. With Stellrota, weekly job rotation becomes a lightweight routine that keeps students and helpers clearly on task.
