Interval Timer: HIIT & Tabata

Interval Timer is a HIIT and Tabata timer built to be relied on: it keeps exact time with the screen off, says every change out loud, and never locks a preset behind a subscription.

Lock your phone, switch to your music, put it face down on the floor. The interval timer keeps counting in the background, beeps 3-2-1 before every change, speaks "Work" and "Rest", vibrates, and shows the countdown on your lock screen with Pause, Skip and Stop.

Exact time, every round
The timer reads a clock that never drifts instead of counting ticks, so a 20-minute workout takes exactly 20 minutes, even with the screen off for all of it. Pause and resume as often as you need.

Unlimited presets, free
Tabata, HIIT 40/20 and EMOM 10 are ready to go. Build as many of your own as you like: work, rest, rounds, sets, a break between sets, get-ready and cool-down. Or make a custom workout from a list of named steps such as plank, squats or a boxing round, reorder them, and repeat the whole list. Use it as a Tabata timer, a HIIT timer, a circuit timer or a boxing round timer. Every workout is drawn as a strip of its intervals, so you see its shape before you press start.

Readable from across the room
The whole screen turns red for work and green for rest, with seconds big enough to read from your mat. Next up, round count and time left are always on screen. A ring empties as each interval runs out, and the get-ready countdown is signal yellow.

Hear every change
A 3-2-1 countdown and a tone at every change, spoken phase and step names, and vibration. Your music dips for a moment instead of stopping. Cue volume, voice and vibration can each be switched off.

Quick start and history
Your recent workouts appear in the app icon's shortcut menu, so a long-press starts one directly. Every finished workout is saved, with bars for each day of the week, your total minutes and your streak.

No subscription
Every preset and every feature is free. The app shows a small banner on the preset list, never during a workout. A single one-time purchase removes the ads. Watching a short video in Settings gives you two hours without ads.

Private and offline
No account, no sign-in, works without a connection. Available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Turkish, Indonesian, Dutch, Japanese, Korean and Russian.
