Focusrot: App Blocker & Lock

Tired of opening your phone for "just one minute" and losing hours to mindless scrolling?

Focusrot helps you break the doomscroll loop, regain control over your attention span, and build lasting digital habits. Designed with psychology-backed friction and gamified screen time limits, Focusrot makes staying off distracting apps rewarding and fun.

WHY FOCUSROT?

Mindless short-form video feeds drain your mental energy and destroy your productivity. Focusrot replaces willpower with smart barriers and a visual attention battery that keeps you mindful throughout the day.

KEY FEATURES

• Attention Battery
Treat your screen time like a real battery. Every minute spent on distracting apps drains your energy. Once it runs out, your apps lock until you take a genuine offline break to recharge.

• Strict App Blocker
Block social media, games and entertainment apps with custom schedules or on-demand shields. Enable Strict Mode so you can't buy extra time in moments of weakness.

• Deep Focus Sessions
Start focus timers for work or study that shield every distraction until your session ends. A calm zen garden grows while you focus.

• Earn Your Scroll Time
Complete real-life tasks and focus sessions to earn minutes, gems and streaks. Unlock themes and outfits for your brain buddy.

• Brain Health Score & Insights
Track your daily digital recovery with screen time breakdowns, streaks and your worst offenders.

• 100% Private
No accounts, no ads, no trackers. Usage data is processed on your phone and never leaves it.

HOW BLOCKING WORKS
Focusrot uses Android's Usage Access to show your screen time and the Accessibility service to detect when a blocked app opens, so it can cover it with a shield screen. It never reads, collects or shares the content of your screen.
