ProofPack: Photo Evidence

ProofPack turns a phone camera session into a clear, shareable evidence handover pack.

Built for property condition checks, rental turnover, move-in documentation and other field inspections, ProofPack keeps the workflow local and focused: create a job, capture photos, review the evidence, prepare a report, then share one complete pack.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Create jobs on your phone with a title, client reference and optional address.
• Start with Rental turnover, Move-in condition or a Blank job template.
• Capture photos with the camera and keep the original JPEG in app-private storage.
• Organize evidence by report sections and choose the sections and image density for the handover.
• Add business contact details to the report when useful.
• Preview report pages before finalizing a report version.
• Generate a deterministic PDF report plus a ZIP containing the originals and supporting verification files.
• Inspect the signed manifest and verification details in the app.
• Save a copy through Android's document picker, or share the verified pack through the Android share sheet.
• Browse verified packs in a local archive and export the exact original JPEGs to a folder you choose.

WHY PROOFPACK

ProofPack records a SHA-256 fingerprint for each captured original and signs capture records with an ECDSA P-256 key held by Android Keystore. A verified pack includes the report, original files, signed records, manifest and public key so the handover can be checked independently of a ProofPack account or server.

The app is local-first and works without an account, cloud workspace or automatic upload. It includes no ads, analytics or tracking. The only runtime permission is Camera, requested when you begin capturing.

HONEST VERIFICATION

Verification shows whether the files and signed metadata still match what this ProofPack installation recorded. It does not prove who operated the phone, what happened outside the camera frame, provide a trusted timestamp, or make a report a legal certification. Capture time is labelled as device time. The signing key belongs to this app installation, and Android may report whether its key is hardware-backed or software-backed.
