Painpal+ enables self-management of chronic pain through personalized insights. Painpal+ (powered by Cogniant.co) empowers users for self-management of chronic pain nudging to help them monitor their pain intensity, pain interference, mood, document their thoughts, and set goals. As users continue to document their diary, Painpal+ assembles comprehensive reports that documents the users behavioral progression. These reports are reviewed by the user interactively, allowing the user to become aware and then empowered to manage their own care. Based on research done by psychologists, physiologists and chronic pain clinicians, the app uses background HealthConnect information to make sense of the user's activity data to personalize in-app experience. App wants to understand the user's behavior and based on that suggests some mini interventions like mindfulness videos to manage chronic pain. This helps increase user engagement and to be a more effective tool for keeping track of chronic pain conditions.
