2024-11-02	Ga*****	UPDATE: The app is now labeled "Retired" so downloaded new BAF app, I cannot get it to sync up with our Haiku Fan, although the app shows our fan in an illustration when you first open it up. I will continue using this app until newer app recognizes our fan. - 11/02/24 Very convenient at night when I have forgotten to turn off the fan before going upstairs. - 06/09/20

2022-11-18	To*****	worked with tech support. Reboot and reinstall constantly. The constant loss of connection makes this something I can no longer recommend. Edit:Clients hate it. Avoid if you are a writing a spec for a smart home. EDIT1: was told the router was the problem, not the fans. Tested 3 different routers with no affect. (Spectrum, Google, and now Orbi) EDIT2: getting worse. App is rarely updated as Company doesnt care. EDIT: app is now as useless as the new one, which incompatible with some devices.

2022-10-22	Er*****	Update: We really love this smart fan and enjoy the features and light. It's extremely attractive and highly functional. The fan itself and customer support is 5-star. From time to time my app control & my Alexa control looses connectivity and I must initiate setup again, lately its been holding connectivity. So now, I'm reinstating my rate this fan/app combo as a full 5 star. Did I mention this fan is super effective and attractive...! Motion sensing makes it a great night light too.

2022-09-20	Sa*****	I like this app. It's better (for me)than the BAF app that I'm being prompted to switch to. The BAF app seems to have less options (like mins and max for fan and light) and the new firmware that goes along with it brakes the integration with my Hubitat. I've reverted the firmware on my fans and switched back to this app.

2021-08-30	Jo*****	The app is not great, but it gets the job done. Revising my previous review up two stars since I discovered the scheduling feature will solve or at least hide the issue I was having with my Ecobee pairing settings being overridden randomly. Now, I just run a couple of schedules that re-set my desired temperature and max speed settings.

2021-06-26	C *****	Excellent fan impressed with Haiku L that I Purchased. No need to look for remote with phone app. I have set schedules with the app also. Light on low makes a Excellent night light it is very dim and gives you enough light to get up. Mounted on a low incline ceiling. Light does does not emit any heat like my old fixture did. Great first experience with Haiku L.

2021-06-10	Bi*****	Every time there is an update the app stops working and I lose integration from wall switch and one of two fans through my ohone. The fans are great. The app and wall switch integration has not been a user-friendly experience. Good thing the product comes with a remote.

Although I bought them at the same time I recieved two very different remotes, one model (new version) works much better with my fan that is mounted on the 18foot ceiling. When I asked why, I was told that they fulfilled one fan from existing stock and one was made to order and that they improved the remote. Would have been nice to have consistentcy and a working remote without having to pay extra for a (new & improved) remote as they offered.

2021-05-01	Da*****	I was exited for these fans but the smart software experience is quite disappointing. First, the app feels very dated and unkept, like it was developed for the first Droid phone. And while there is Google Assistant integration, it's pretty bad (although, I wonder who is to blame for that). There is no support for SmartThings, which is a shame. And for a fan that costs $800+, it's all extremely disappointing. Please, do better.

I have never had any problems with the first one I bought a few years ago, but the second one with the wall control often looses sync with WiFi and I have to reset it and perform the setup again. I also cannot get the newer fan and wall control to connect to my newer router, the older fan connects without issue. I can see my network, but it will not connect to it for some reason. Finally the support via messages in the app seems nonexistent, I've sent two support requests via the in app help request and have never once even received a reply.
