Angelina Braille Reader is a Chrome extension enabling Optical Braille Recognition (OBR) from photos of printed and handwritten Braille texts, such as Braille books and textbooks, including double-sided printing.

Designed to assist typhlopedagogues, visually impaired individuals, parents of blind children, and anyone needing to read Braille, the extension processes images to provide:

1. The original photo annotated with recognized Braille text.
2. Digital Braille text output.
3. Decrypted transcription into regular letters.

It supports multiple Braille languages including English Grade 1 and Grade 2, Russian, German, Polish, Greek, Latvian, and Uzbek. The extension requires an internet connection and is optimized for paper-based printed and handwritten Braille materials. Detailed guidance on taking proper photos ensures accurate recognition.
