Origen Productos

Product Origin helps you find out if a supermarket product is of Spanish origin.

Search by type (tomatoes, mussels, capers, etc.) and, if you wish, by brand (Hacendado, Dia). The result is clear: Spanish origin, non-Spanish origin, mixed origin, or unknown origin.

The data comes from the Mercadona and Dia catalogs and from what is written on the packaging. If the product information is empty, says "SEE PACKAGING," or only mentions the manufacturer, we do not assume Spanish origin.

If you can't find the product, you can add it. You can also photograph the packaging: photos are reviewed before being published. Camera permission is only requested when taking the photo.

Other users can indicate if a product is not Spanish. This information is displayed as customer feedback, not as a verdict from the app.
